                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 100 BELL
                   AVENUE, BEING ON THE SOUTHWEST LINE OF BELL
                   AVENUE AT SPEARS AVENUE, FROM R-2 RESIDENTIAL
                   ZONE TO C-5 NEIGHBORHOOD COMMERCIAL ZONE.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 100 Bell Avenue, being
                on the southwest line of Bell Avenue at Spears
                Avenue  Lot 1-B, and part of lots 1-A and 1-C,
                Mitchell Re-Sub of a Portion of Lot 1, Wester and
                Latimore Addition, as shown by plat of record in
                plat book 42, page 144, ROHC; being the property
                described in deed book 4175, page 767, ROHC.  Tax
                Map No. 135C-H-9.
               
               
         from R-2 Residential Zone to C-5 Neighborhood Commercial Zone.

              	   SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         required by law.
